	Racing Classic and Historic Touring Cars	The Classic Touring Car Racing Club runs four separate Championships for Classic / Historic Touring Cars (Pre 60 & 66), Post Historic Touring Cars (Pre 74), Classic Group 1 Touring Cars (Pre 83). Each Championship is over 10 or 11 rounds at circuits throughout Britain and is split into classes depending upon engine size. All cars run on Dunlop Formula R treaded race tyres and are built to conform to the Group 1 regulations of the 70's and early 80's.The CTCRC also organises the "Classic Thunder Championship" which incorporates CTC (ex BTCC support), Gp2 / Gp5 and GpA cars. A series for more highly modified machinery. New for 2001 was the Pre 90 Touring Car Series also known as Classic Group N.
